Details you need to know before book your trip.

Arrival

When you arrive at the international airport in Kathmandu one of our team  members will be there to welcome you, displaying our company’s banner outside the  airport. You’ll be introduced to all members and then be transferred to your Hotel in Thamel  where we will make plans for a welcome dinner & briefing about your trek.

Accommodation
Your Hotel in Kathmandu will included breakfast & room with  private bathrooms and hot shower. During trek lodges consist of private standard  bedroom and separate shared bathroom, dining & restaurant. Most Lodges are in a  great location for you to see spectacular mountain views.
 
Transportation
Domestic flight to Lukla & back will be 30 minutes each way. There  is always a possibility the flight may be delayed or cancelled due to weather  conditions, so it is always better to plan for one extra day. We will always receive  updates on the weather conditions. Ground transport includes Airport pickup and  drop off, sightseeing in Kathmandu & long distance travel to Manthali & back to  Kathmandu.
Daily routine
Normally your day will start between 6 am & 7am, it is a good idea to  pack luggage before breakfast so porters can leave slightly earlier. You enjoy brekkie  & start your trek without being rushed. The walking distance depends on the trail  condition & plan for the day. There will always be a briefing about the day including  information about the trail, plan, prepare & attractions in detail . After we walk 2 or 3  hours we will stop for lunch break which will be 1 hour to rest and eat. We will then  continue on to the next lodge, which will be pre booked by our company. Upon a  arrival you’ll be able to chill out and have some free time and order for dinner, read  book, play card or whatever you like to do. After dinner guide will brief you about the  plan for tomorrow. This routine will be repeated everyday.
 
Sightseeing

There are more than 5 world heritage sites in Kathmandu, You’ll get  the opportunity to visit those amazing places if you choose. Baudhanath stupa,  Swayambhunath, Pasupatinath, Bhaktapur Darbarsqure, Patan Darbarsqure are  famous world heritage sites in Kathmandu.

• Guide & porters

 Our guide & porters are friendly, well trained, knowledgeable  about mountains, safety, culture & hospitality. They are all professionals in 

adventure tourism, tours, treks & mountaineering. We ensure your guide will take  care & make your journey safe. Porters are the backbone of each trip each, they will  carry a max of 30kg & help transfer you to your destination safely. 

Safety & security

We are a government registered trekking & expedition company  highly committed to the health & safety of our clients & staff. Our guides are  government licence holders they are well trained & have endless knowledge and  experience about first aid, use of oxygen, prepare & prevention for altitude sickness,  rescue support & Heli martial etc.  

Food & drinks
There will be a menu available with various choices of foods & of  course some local foods, Momo, Chaumin, Daalbhat are main local foods to try.  You’ll enjoy to experience local foods. Your guide will oversee the food preparation  and be available for any questions regarding food.
Culture
 Nepal is a country of rich culture & religion. Local people have their own  community, culture & beliefs. Buddhism is the most popular religion & culture in the  mountains. Sherpa & Tamang communities are the most common in the mountain  region. Local people believe the mountains are a sacred place so be please be  respectful to their community & local culture and customs. 
Gear

 We really recommend comfortable & light weight clothing during your trek.  Hiking boots, down jacket, thermals, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglass, hiking  bag, raincoat, warm socks, headlight, Fleece, sleeping bag are necessary in any  mountain trip. We can organise for you to hire gear in Kathmandu as well. 

Payment

 We accept cash payment if you’re comfortable with it. Otherwise you can  pay to company’s bank account which we’ll provide on your request.

Tip & summit bonus

Celebrating the last day of our trip or summit day are the  important to us. The summit day we’ll celebrate on same evening exchanging happiness & gratitude between one other. The Summit bonus specially goes to your  climbing Guide who helped you to reach the summit & took back safely. The last will  be the end of your trip which your guide will discuss with you. Usually we offer  dinner together for guide and porters. This day you can exchange your experience of  the trek, free to dance, laugh ,have fun. Tipping is a traditional culture in the  mountains. It shows our gratitude for the hard work of the porters and allows them  to further provide for their families. It is a celebration of the success of the trek.

Documents

 Once the trip itinerary has been confirmed and a deposit has been  paid we are then able to organise all the services needed for your trek. We will need  a passport size photo, copy of your flight ticket & copy of your passport, then we can  process through to make all necessary permits documents & prepare logistics for  your trip before your arrival.

Trip packages

We’ve able to offer two types of packages for our clients.
  1. FULL  BOARD PACKAGE Full board package includes all services like – Airport pickup,  drop off, foods, accommodation, Transportation or flight, trip permits, wages of  guide & porters, sightseeing, staff insurance etc.  
  2.  PAY AS GO SERVICE : This service does not include your meals , so you’ll be able  to control your meals & budget yourself. If you’re comfortable to take cash with you,  it is another option & most travellers prefer this option.  
  • Refund policy : Once you book a trip with us and pay your deposit we will arrange all  the logistics, flight, transport, permits, staff ,hotels, transportations etc. Refunds  will be acceptable if you change your mind at anytime the deposit will not be  refundable this will be considered a cancellation charge.  
  • Altitude sickness & helicopter rescue : Altitude symptoms & sickness usually  develop after you climb over 4,000 m elevation. However we design your itinerary  very carefully to suit you and your fitness level. You’ll stop & acclimatise every 2000 metres so it helps you to adjust with the altitude & mountain environment. Common  Altitude symptoms are light headache, difficult breathing, Nausea, vomiting,  dizziness etc anyone can feel it. It doesn’t mean you can’t make a trip. If you fell any  of these symptoms then always tell your guide so he will be able to take action.  We’re a responsible adventure company and always put health & safety as our first  priority. We provide emergency helicopter rescue if needed. Any rescue services are  not included in your cost so your travel insurance will cover rescue cost if needed  which we need your insurance details so we can coordinate. Travel insurance is  necessary for any mountain trip in Nepal. 
  • Prevention & Recovery methods: Altitude symptoms & sickness are common  things often travellers face in Mountains. Sometimes you need longer acclimatise,  relaxing or rest in mountains. Light headache, tiredness are common symptoms anybody can feel it even Shepa people. This type of symptoms often diccipear itself  once you stop to worry or thinking too much, after eating & drinking enough, after  relaxing mind & body, after having rest & keeping body worm including head & feet.  However our guide will monitor the level of symptoms & we will take the further  action for rescue evacuation if needed. 
  • Permits & documents :To trek or climb any mountain in Nepal you’ll need a specific  permit. There are several types of permits but you’ll need, peak climbing permit for  Mera peak climbing permit. There are two types of popular permits – 1. trekking  permit & 2. peak climbing permit. Peak climbing or expedition permits cost rate is  higher than normal trekking permit. Your guide will advise about which permit you  will need for your specific trek. 
  • Preparation & fitness level: We provide guidelines to prepare for your mountain  adventure in needed. We go through asking questions & answering about your  previous outdoors experience & fitness level. No matters even you are beginner. 
  • Camping & climbing period : We provide all necessary equipment including  sleeping tents, food, kitchen staff, climbing guide, climbing gears during climbing  period. Our professional team will train you to use gears correctly & peak climbing  techniques before climb it . Our team will 100% support & motivate you until  successful summit & return back safely.  
  • Trip completion certificate & achievement : Our soul recognises your adventure  soul. We always feel proud to be your adventure partner. We provide an  achievement certificate for every single trip as our souvenir for you.
